Cardinal Dolan's visit to St. Columba on May 22, 2021 was a multi purposed one.
1. His first stop was at our cemetery to bless the additional acreage which was donated to the parish several years ago. With all the land now being consecrated it will pave the way for the future construction of the Columbarium which has been approved through the Renew and Rebuild campaign.
 2. His second stop was for the blessing of the play-ground behind the church which was dedicated to Fr. Charlie. The construction of the play-ground was made possible through the donation of one of our parishioners which was not part of the Renew and Rebuild program.
3. The Cardinal's last stop was for the blessing of the Knights of Columbus Hall which was dedicated to Hap Murray. Following this a small reception with refreshments was served in Bishop Vaughn Hall.
